先以5辆试跑 麻坡市议会主席嘉马鲁丁向《南洋商报》表示,初步发展计划是设定总共30辆三轮车,穿行市区各旅游热点。不过,由于缺乏专有车道,以及考量到市区的交通阻塞问题,该市议会考虑先以5辆三轮车试跑。 他说,若反应好将增多5辆三轮车,以此类推,直至成熟期全部共30辆三轮车提供服务。
