Muar old High Court building

Muar High Court building which was built in 1885 in a neo-classical architecture, it was once used as the guest house of Sultan Abu Bakar.

The old building is vacant now (as at 14 June 2012) after high court and magistrate moved to a new complex at Jalan Temenggong Ahmad.

i currently taking degree in building survey…and as a final year student..we need to do a study/ research on any related topic that we are interested in..so i am doing an research about historical building in malaysia… n i had choose muar high court and muar rest house as my case study… and i want to ask if u can help me with the history of the building itself……thanks
